Ms. Liu is an award-winning educator with over 15 years of experience in Singapore’s MOE-aligned education system. Her achievements include:

At Unitimes Academy, Ms. Liu leads all academic programmes, curriculum development, and educator training. She is the creator of the 4C Learning Model, which emphasises structured learning, higher-order thinking, and real-world application — empowering students to learn deeply, think critically, and express confidently.

Miss Yam specialises in blending language teaching with cultural heritage, enabling students to enhance their Chinese language skills holistically. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese with Honours (Distinction), and has extensive experience in translation and content creation. Her in-depth understanding of the nuances between Chinese and English allows her to guide students in mastering key language concepts with ease.
She firmly believes that every child can develop a love for learning Chinese. She emphasises interactive and engaging teaching methods, crafting enjoyable lessons and providing patient guidance to help students improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a supportive environment. Her approachable and meticulous teaching style instils confidence and fosters a deeper understanding of the Chinese language.

Science Teacher
Proven Teaching Expertise:
Dr. Lina received her PhD in Science Education (Physics) from Singapore’s National Institute of Education (NIE) on a scholarship. She spent 10 years as a research fellow and teacher trainer at NIE before becoming Head of Curriculum for K-12 education in private institutions. Later, she discovered a deep passion for hands-on teaching, which led her to begin working directly with primary and secondary students. This experience allowed her to refine her teaching methods to suit different age groups effectively.
Dr. Lina is well-versed in a variety of educational formats and curriculum, and she is particularly passionate about Physics and Mathematics education. Her extensive background in both research and practice make her a dedicated advocate for fostering curiosity and understanding in young learners.
